Educational Programs
Since 1961, the Museum has been free and open to the public offering free tours to almost 10,000 students a year (many of whom are from the under-served neighborhoods). These children come to learn from the Museum’s extensive collection of original artifacts and documents. The Museum serves as an important destination for many non-Jewish students who may be unfamiliar with the subject of the Holocaust. In fact, the majority of students taught here are minorities. Perhaps most importantly, our Museum is the only Jewish/Holocaust organization that guarantees dialogue with an actual Holocaust Survivor. Your donation will allow us to continue providing free educational programming. For more information please contact Development Director, Amy Cabranes: amy@lamoth.org
